Located in Bullbridge, Derbyshire a small village that rests in the Amber Valley, we’re excited to reveal the latest venue in the Moorwood Hotel Collection, offering home-brewed beers, tasty pub food and cosy rooms.

Whilst we have given The Canal a new lease of life, you can be sure the rich history of the building and the surrounding area will be apparent when you visit us.

The name is closely based on the history of the area where The Canal Inn is located. We came to the name of The 14 Lock Brewery based on the original route and design of the canal which had 4 tunnels and 14 locks. With our brewery being inspired by the local landscape and the history of our venue, we saw this as the perfect name for our new venture.
